Tank specs as below..

Why do all my fish stay in the right side of my tank? Do anyone else's fish do this only stay in one section of the tank?

Started with clown pair (I get it they usually stay in the same spot) but my 3 chromis all stay close to clowns on the right. And my little watchman goby too staying the the corner with everyone else. The only fish that roams around is the mandarin

Is this odd? Seems weird all this space and they crowd the corner by the MP10 lol

You never know where clowns will decide to set-up camp but once they chose a location they don't stray far from home. The other fish likely feel safer in a group and since that is where the clowns are swimming, they just bunch-up. If the clowns ever mate and lay eggs, they will chase off the other fish.

i have the same thing going on, i believe has to do with the current of the water and where you have the jet/blower. I have my blower on the left blowing the water to the right so all the fish minus scotter blenny stay to the left only time they leave that area is when its off, and its not like i have a huge blower either its rated for 20-30 gal and my tank is also 29gl

Aha lol this is good, snapping turtle. Yea my wife is like why do we need to upgrade to the 125gallon all your fish stay in a 1 foot box lol

No No No! Tank is way to small for tapping snurtles. Tapping snurtles need AT LEAST 30 gal! OMG! TAKE IT BACK TO YOUR FISH STORE! NOW! TAKE DOWN YOUR TANK AND SELL IT ON CRAIGSLIST FOR THE SAKE OF TAPPING SNURTLES EVERYEWHERE!!!

But otherwise fish are wierd. Maybe Flo?

I came up the steps from the garage to the living room today and saw ONE fish...my clown...in the corner. I thought..."oh crap...what happened". 10 seconds later about 10 fish were in the last 1 foot of the 8 foot tank...the foot that I feed them. :)

I think it has a lot to do with flow too since I have some serious currents for the corals so they tend to hang out at the one end, but the grazers do graze, just not when I'm within 20 feet of the tank. :)

Your tank also seems to be a lot of corals, but not a lot of rock. I know it's hard to see with photos but maybe you don't have enough hiding places and lower flow cracks for them to hang out near and that corner is the lowest area of flow.

I've also noticed most "swimming" saltwater fish tend to avoid bubbles like your filter is spilling in.
