Quiet powerheads/wavemaker

I'm in the planning process of setting up another tank after being away for 5-6 yrs. Currently, we are planning on a 24x24x24 cube. My wife and I were browsing the LFS and noticed their display tank had opposing Hydor Koralias which made an awful racket when used on a wavemaker. As this tank will be in the main living space noise is a huge concern. I was planning on using a Sicce Syncra 1.5 or 2.0 for the main circulation through the sump and powerheads would make up the remainder of the circulation. I'm anticipating having 2 powerheads located along the back wall of the tank pointed towards the front pane, alternating between each other.

Thoughts?

I just ordered a pair of Sicce Voyagers. Suppose to be silent on and off. Can't take the koralia racket on a wavemaker. Tunze was my second choice but too much money in my situation. I've already got MP40s and just want to throw some directional change into the mix off of the wavemaker feature in my controller. Without the MP40s then I'd be leaning towards the 6095s.

I've had good experience with Tunze pumps. The 6095 sounds like it would fit your requirements perfectly. Combine with a 7096 controller, and you can make them run in whatever pattern you want, at whatever strength you want. Has a neat little moonlight too.

Im using a jebao pump, so far its silent and comes with a controller. you can see the subject come up very often on the forums.

I use two 6095's. First pump I have owned that is dead silent. Even if I control them to start/stop repeatedly!

I had two mp40s on my 200g.
I love the design and the concept however they were loud in my tank and needed adjustment frequently.

I switched to tunze 6105 and it's really really quiet. It's comparing electric motor to a truck engine.
