Quieting an overflow

Does anyone have a good way to quiet down the waterfall noise of the water going into an overflow box?

I have a 200 gallon DSA tank with ~800gal/hr going through it, I have a durso set up and it's about as high as it gets.

Coarse foam or even a zip lock freezer bag hung at the wiers has worked for me.
The foam would need to be rinsed at least every week during WCs.

The Baggie baffle works wonders or re-do the plumbing to raise the Durso.
