Quite basic question about Clowns and breeding

So, I am very new to this hobby. I have just introduced a pair of Clowns to my tank. Here is the question: Will they reproduce on their own? Or do I have to take extra measures for that to happen? I ask this because of my "newbiness" I really don't have adequate knowledge not equipment for this to happen.

Thanks

It can take a year to several before a clwnfish pair matured to the point of reproduction. You don't have to do anything!

There are certain things you can do to help them start spawning though.

1. Feed them till they don't want to eat anymore.
2. Increase lighting by an hour a day.
3. Make sure they aren't being pestered by other fish.
4. Increase the temperature a little if you can.
5. Feed them some more. :D

If the fish are old enough to spawn and are sexed already, these steps may help trigger spawning. I don't have scientific proof of any of these suggestions, just anecdotal evidence from myself and some other breeders.

That would be great, but, with my lack of knowledge and equipment, that would not be a wise nor responsible thing for me to do at this point. I will remember that for down the road though!
