So about four days ago in the morning he was fine but when i got home from work a leg was gone... His central disc has been turning white for a while now-doing some reading i think from old age- so i was not sure how he lost it or where it went.
Over the next two days he looked worse and worse untill another arm fell off and his central disc was disinagrating by the minute. So i had to take him out and send him to the big reef heaven!
I had him for a year and a half and the person i bought my original setup from had him for over 2 years! He was a HUGE red serpent star. Id say almost 18" from leg tip to leg tip when fully expanded. I will miss him he was a great conversation piece and a great member of my tank!!! R.I.P. little buddy!
