Rabbit fish - reef tank experiences?

I have a 2-barred rabbit in my reef. Very peaceful with all the other fish. Doesn't pick at my clams, although I have seen it pick at my sps a few times a while ago, I just increased the amount of nori I feed daily and it has since stopped. Great fishes.

I had a Foxface a while back and it was fine with all of my corals. This includes zoas, LPS, SPS, softies, including Xenia and a clam.

I may be incorrect, but I thought you were only supposed to keep one rabbitfish per tank. But maybe your tank is big enough.

i vote no on both counts unless it is going to be sps only. they are not completly reef safe. go with a scribbled rabbitfish, or a foxface

My fox is totaly reeef safe IME.

My blue stripped rabbit .... not so much. Good with SPS. Shrooms, zoos = dinner.

I had the blue spotted, scribbled, and a magnificent foxface together. They were fine with all types of corals, with each other, and with all the other fish.

I have a scribbled rabbitfish in my 70for about a year now. He;s just about outgrown the tank due to the fact that he eats his own weight in food on a dailt basis! Hasn't ever bothered any corals though.

I have six rabbit fish and foxfaces together in a 325 SPS tank. They haven't bothered the few ZOas that I have. Wish they would though. I do see them take the slime off of corals and they will sometimes take an entire branch tip of a stag into their mouth to get the slime. . No harm done though. They do pick at each other occasionally but no harm done as the tank is very large.

Magnificent Rabbitfish=great with sps, lps and zoos. Will clean your zoos from fungus. And I don't just mean eat the fungus...
