Raccoon Butterfly Cuts on side and blood

My Raccoon Butterfly has lines of blood on its sides, a little more on one side. looks like scales are picked off a little. Breathing pretty fast and hovering in the same spot. Anyone think this is a disease? I have it with 3 green chromis, a midnight angel, rusty angel, and a false percula clown. I cant find my camera but will try to get pics on soon

sometimes angels will be aggressive towards butterflies, sounds like angel aggression to me! The angels sometimes look at butterflies as other angels and will fight them like so!

yea, the weird thing is I have been watching closely for aggression and there really hasnt been much going on and then just this evening I noticed the fish hovering in one spot and with bloody areas on the sides. Its not hanging out at the very top of the tank and breathing heavily but the specific gravity is fine.

do you have a QT? might want to put him in there, because at this point any more aggression, if thats what it is of course will do him in for sure. When you put him in the Qt, give him a little prime or similar in the water

nope no qt tank. the butterfly started to barely be able to swim and then just sat vertically on my cheto grass ball and was breathing very fast not moving any fins. I ended up having to put him in a bag and put him in the freezer to let the nervous system shut down. thanks for the help though. Ill be more careful about fish compatability next time
