Radiant Wrasse

I have this beautiful fish in QT right now after 9 days. I caught him flashing a couple times today. No visible signs of ich but he came from a LFS that has had fish with ich. In fact the hippo I purchased from them did have it.
Anyway I have heard wrasses don't do well with copper? Is this true? I was gonna start treatment tomorrow and kinda planned on it anyway because of where he came from.
He eats real well so that's positive. Thoughts

I've treated many wrasses with both Cupramine & Coppersafe - no issues. Just ramp it up slowly over a period of several days. You also might want to treat with Prazipro (2 rounds) just in case the flashing is due to flukes. It is best not to mix Prazi with copper treatment, so do it either before or after.

So Maybe treat with Praz first? Or go right into copper? Will snails be safe with Prazipro?

Should be (people treat their DT with Prazi - only feather dusters/tube worms are reported causalities). But copper will kill the snails for sure.

Personally, I would probably treat with Prazi first. But if white spots show up, abandon Prazi treatment (for now) and switch over to copper.

Sounds good, thanks. I wasent aware Flukes could make a fish flash....that's good to know. I always use Prazipro in my QT process so I typically wait 2 weeks before any treatment in case ich shows up then I can go right into copper. But if it doesn't I just treat with Prazi prophylactically.

Ich always comes around for me with in 2 weeks, some sooner but never later.
