Radion and Apex tripping GFCI

Wasn't sure if I should put this in the Ecotech or Neptune forum so I'm doing both. I finally set up and hooked up my G2 Radion last night and this morning it tripped my GFCI twice before I unplugged it from my Apex. I had it hooked up to the #2 outlet on my Energy Bar and it is on a 15A GFCI. This tank is newly set up (no previous light) and I've yet to have the GFCI trip before this. Any suggestions? Should I plug into outlets #4 or #8 instead? I bought this Radion on RC did I get a lemon ha?

TIA,
Tim

Tim,

We will be able to replace your Radion power supply with a non switching type that will solve that issue. Please call in today to complete the warranty process.

Forgot to update! Thanks Ecotech for being really good with your customer service.

Got the new ballast and have successfully been running it for a couple of weeks without any trips! I appreciate all the help!

I just put my lights on a gfi and it worked fine for the first few hours but the. Began to trip. I guess a new ballast will fix my issue. I have three of them to replace? Give you a call Alex with the number in your signature?
