Yeah hopefully Neptune has been hinting at a nice surprise for the last week or so. I would love even simple things like a nighttime spying mode so I can tap a button on the iPhone or iPad app and have only the reds come on so I can spy on the nightlife, or just being able to change to daylight mode when guests are over and want to see the fish better all without having to plug in a USB cable and fire up a PC.
Ecotech has been hinting at a controller to do all the wireless stuff but it would be nice to have it all play nice with the Apex, especially considering the pumps are already there with the WMX It's always irked me that that my Ecotech pumps can be controlled by my Neptune iPhone app around the globe wirelessly but my crazy sophisticated LED lights using the same proprietary rf module can't do anything wirelessly via the Radions. It's kinda funny the pumps and lights can communicate with each other fine, the Apex with the WXM can control the pumps well beyond the capabilities of the controller they come with but the Apex can't do anything with the lights. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of this waiting game.
