Radion Apex Wxm issue

Over the past few months with increasing amounts per day, my radion randomly turns off. After a few minutes it will turn back on. Sometimes it doesn't do it for hours. And other times just serval minutes apart. Anyone else ever have this issue/find a solution?

Try checking the aqua bus cables. Sounds like you are losing communication somewhere and it's resetting itself. Make sure they didn't get pulled out slightly and make sure there's no moisture or corrosion

Cables are secure. No moisture. All electronics are in a dry box in the stand. Possible to have program issues? It's pretty annoying. Thinking about ditching the wxm at this point and just using the reeflink.

Strange. Do you have any programming in there that shuts your lights off if your temp gets too high?

Ya but the hist is set at 81 degrees. My tank never goes above 78

Maybe reeflink is the way to go. No real advantage to having it on apex. Last question, is your radion power supply plugged into the eb8 or a normal plug?

Radion Apex Wxm issue

Radion is controlled by Apex. It's in the first solid state plug slot.

have you try testing the radion on a regular plug to rule out the radion powersupply is the culprit?

Fyi the wxm creates a virtual outlet for your radion. You can connect the radion to a normal power source, separate from your eb8, to free up a spot on it for something else. It is not controlled by switching the outlet. It is all done wirelessly via the wxm and the radions on board computer. Same with mp10/40/60w if you have them.
