Radion control

Did there ever come anything from the idea that the GHL will be able to control the radion lights?

Negative. The ball is still in Ecotech's court waiting on them to release the "Code" and such. I would imagine they are less inclined to release it now with recent additions to GHL's lineup (aka GHL Mitras rocking the LED market).

Just to clarify the reason has nothing to do with the Mitras, both Ecotech and GHL have a lot of working respect for each other. Its simply more down to time on both companies side working on their own projects.

It took I think 3 years for the Pump interface to come to life, I hope the Radion release is not that long but it gives an indication that these things dont happen fast.

Who needs Radion when you have Mitras? :)

Radion and Profilux integration has been sought for a while now and the wait continues. Meanwhile the Mitras has come out and is soon to offer their wireless adapter for the Profilux. I'm willing to bet the GHL adapter will be released long before Ecotech does anything for Profilux compatibility.

All well and good but unfortunately I invested in purchasing the radions and would like to see them inter work... I also don't have 100% faith in GHL as I purchased the touch screen and the functionality is still very basic.....

Would be nice to get a formal response from GHL!

If you look on the International GHL Forum and also the Ecotech forum you'll see GHL has made multiple "official statements" all of which state it's up to Ecotech to release their code to 3rd parties (GHL is but one who would like the code).

You will have more luck/progress going to Ecotech and asking them these same questions as the ball is still in their court.

Allen is right, GHL have done their part already, the Ecotech controller is already released but without the soft code from Ecotech nothing can be implemented. This has been stated many times now.

In regards to the Touch screen please see the latest post about firmware upgrade.

It would be nice, but, it is really not that big a deal. Once you set up your lighting program, you pretty much just leave it alone anyway. Sure, it would be nice to impress your friends with an impromptu thunderstorm, but, beyond that, it is no real necessity.
