I have a 110 gallon tall tank (48x18x30) with mostly LPS/softcorals but I do have a few SPS near the very top of the tank and hope to eventually add a clam or two.
Wondering what lighting profiles and intensity settings other people in my situation use.
I have a similar tank ( 100G ) and I'm using two Ecotech XR15Pro and because until now I did not found the right settings for the lights I just ordered the PMK from Neptune Apex to see the intensity of the lights in the different levels of he tank... let see if helps. Now I'm using 25% of the intensity of the lights and they are still burning some SPS...
I want to revive this old thread. I put a XR15W G4 Pro over my cube 2 weeks ago and I have it at 30% peak intensity with the AB+ LPS template. I am running the light from 10am-8pm. The light is about 10" from the water and my brain coral on the sand is not doing good since the last 3-4 days. The tissue has receded back inside the skeleton and I can now see the skeleton on a couple of high places on the coral. I also made a mistake of starting to dose NO3PO4 at the same time so I am not sure if I can blame the new lights or the dosing.
