Radion Pro - Calibration and Power Issues.

Alex, having a couple issues with one of my Pros.

First, it will randomly turn off, requiring me to unplug the cord from the power supply and plug it back in again.

Second, the spectrum is way off compared to my other lights but it won't calibrate. I can enter calibration mode fine, but when asked if the color channel is illuminated (which it is not) nothing happens when I click the NO button. I can click it 20 or 30 times and it never illuminates. I tried a couple different channels with the same results.

I did a factory reset and I tried to upgrade the firmware but of course it told me it was already running the latest.

Any ideas?

Dennis,

It sounds as though you need to disable the buttons on your Radions. Please follow these steps:

1. Power down all Radions for 30 seconds
2. Sign into EcoSmart Live using either Google Chrome or Safari
3. Start the Connection Manager and connect via USB (If not using a ReefLink)
4. Select the "Wrench" icon below light 1
5. Disable the Radion buttons via the check box
6. Repeat step 5 for each Radion
7. Select the "Program" button to save changes

Hi Alex, I actually disabled all my buttons a while ago.
Although I did have to turn the buttons off again on this one light yesterday because I had reset it to factory settings.
So far today it seems ok (from what I can tell through my dropcam).

Maybe it's possible the buttons on that light had somehow gotten turned back on before i did the reset? Would this have also prevented the light from being able to be calibrated? It entered calibration mode fine (all leds turned off) but I couldn't get any to illuminate. And when I exited calibration mode, I opened up a point on the graph and turned off all leds but cool white. This particular light had no leds running, while the cool white were running on all the other lights. And actually, even after turning the buttons off, I'm pretty sure I was trying the calibration and it wasn't working.

But I just logged in remotely through ESL, watching on my dropcam. Tried to replicate the above and of course it seems to be working fine. ;) I'll have to try the calibration again tonite when I'm home.

ok Alex, i double checked.
The buttons are disabled.
I just watched on my drop cam as i changed the lights to a yellow spectrum from my phone and they all changed but this one light stayed blue.
And last night around 8pm this light was dead again. Had to unplug/replug in the power cable.

Thoughts?
