Radion Pro fan noise

My Radion Pro started to emit an annoying, squeaking noise when the fan is running. I think the bearing is bad on the fan. How do I fix it?

Adam,

I would recommend powering down and cleaning the fan. If it continues to make noise, please call in during our normal business hours to have it replaced.

Cleaning it was my first thought. I did it and noise is still there. I will call at lunch.

Are the fans supposed to be silent? I just fired up 3 radion pros for the first time, and you can definitely hear the hum of the fans. They are all about the same noise wise. Its not anything too loud, but you can definitely hear the "hum". Just curious.

When I first bought my Radion Pro the fan was near silent. If I was next to it I heard a little hum, but I heard nothing from the couch across the room. As I said I hear a squeaking sound, almost as if someone tortured a mouse. It is audible throughout most of the house. I just called Ecotech and all of the reps were "not available", so I left a message. We will see if they call me back.

The fans will be louder when the light is running at 100% intensity in basic mode. (ie: Right out of the box) That said, once you have a program running on the Radion your fan will be much quieter.
