Radium question

Will a Hamilton Reefstar 150W HQI pendant fire a 20K Radium? Thanks in advance.

bump... ive tried looking it up and can find out any information... can anyone help?

A quick look over on Hamilton's website show that there is an up-charge for electronic ballasts with the 150w Reef star line - this would suggest that the standard HQI ballast is, in fact, magnetic and therefore should be fine with a Radium assuming your particular pendant came with the stock ballast.

If the ballast is big, heavy and runs hot it's a safe bet you've got a magnetic.
