Rainbow bta help

I been having trouble keeping my alk and Ca levels with in range. I am dosing two part alk and ca for brs but still only end up with a alk level of 7dkh. Also I have not seen good growth from my corals. All other levels are where they should be. I've ordered a dosing pump from brs. And also changed salts to Red Sea pro. I am doing 3gallon water changes every three days until I've changed completely to Red Sea, have a 100 gallon. So far everything looks good but my rainbow tips tentacles are not as extended as normal, in fact they look like they want to bubble! I know no one knows why they bubble or dont bubble but my questions is, is this a sign of stress because of my new salt or is it just what bta do.

I have three AI vegas set at 37% brightness, light cycle is about 10 hours. The BTA has not move in months. Color look great and seems happy. Just when I started using red sea, I notice that the bottom tentacles seem not to be fully extending.

I wouldn't worry. I don't use additives on my 43 gal nem tank. They are fairly hardy. As long as they get light and occasional food they should work. I have had two for almost a year without moving under Sol Blues, despite no skimmer, 6 ppt crash in salinity (skimmer pumped water onto floor and ATO did what it does), and a broken heater for a week. Everyone lived. If they split there is probably a problem worth addressing (no skimmer and I went from one to three, medium sized one died a week or two later).

As far as salt I use cheap IO. Mixes Alk around 8 so without much Ca demand the parameters are relatively stable.
