Rainbow Danae ok?

Hey, I just purchased a Rainbow danae, See " MONTIPORA ADDICT" thread...

and I was wondering If I am going to be able to keep it colored up under my lighting...

I have 440watts of VHO's, 2 are Actinics and 2 are 50/50's... and for 3 hours a day I have two 65Watt PC that come on for NOON EFFECT which are duel daylights, meaning they are half 65-67K and half 10K each....


I am thinking of getting rid of the Dueldaylights and putting on 2 50/50 PC and keeping them on for the same amount of time as the VHO's....

what do you guys think?

I know they show up best under 20K...

Anyone have one under Xm10Ks with actinics???

i have opne under xm 10ks with actinics. shows prettygood color, my frag hasnt grown into the reds and greens yet, butthe color that is there is nice. my vho ballast just went out and the monti still shows very nice color. getting some 400w 20ks this weekend, will see how the color changes then

i got a sunset and to be honest i'm a little disapointed with it under 10k 250w. Of corse it has only been 1 month

mine from spssniper is bright orange from day one
