it's going up on today's divers den! can't wait to see it! they called it an Australian flathead perch on their sneak-peak.
 
I have no idea what kind of fish that is so I googled it.

The blog site that shall remain nameless reported a specimen for sale in Japan caught in Australia for US$8500.

Wonder what the bill from LA will be? :)

lol i honestly could not spend that much on that ugg fish. i would rather get a trio of earl's fairy wrasses! :D

Most rare fish I can totally get into and see that wow, that would be cool to own. This guy just doesnt do it for me though.
 
my wife actually likes it but its not in my stocking plans or price range, i would rather have gotten the pair of scribbled angels since they would better fit for my tanks and way cheaper but i already have a scribbled
 
I must be crazy, I think it's awesome. There's another video or two floating around of one actually in a tank and I love the look and movement of them.
 
No offense to the person behind the camera @ LA/DD. But the picture is just blah... It does nothing to sell this fish.
