raising acro crabs.....

hello everyone. on sunday i bought two large colonies of acros. Both have acro crabs in them. one of them actualy has two. In the one that has two, i have seen one of the crabs obviously fanning eggs. i was wondering if anyone had any idea on how to raise these. would they be similar to pep shrimp? i may just leave them be for direct feedings into my acros, but if anyone has any articles on raising them, i may give it a try a few times.

Try looking up Trapezia. If you can, try to get some good photographs of the crabs and eggs please. I would love to see high-resolution pictures of the crabs and their eggs. I don't know anything about their reproduction. I imagine the larve are planktonic. You would have to move the eggs and culture the larvae in a separate aquarium / chamber and feed the larvae something... Maybe phytoplankton?

that is what im trying to figure out. i would imagine they would feed on phyto because that is what most other shrimp larva, ect feed on, but im really not sure.
thanks for the search idea, i tried google but didnt get anything since i dont know the scientific names of acro crabs or anything. ill keep looking around.
and unfortunatly, my camera sucks.... i cant get a high resolution pic of anything, nevermind something the size of a dime with eggs the size of pin heads. haha

you might also want to try some ss or L strain rotifers.
