raising baby seahorses or?

My 37 gallon tall has been ready for seahorses, with three dragonfaced pipefish a yellow clown gobie all doing well it sure looks empty. I'm in search of a seahorse that doesnt have to be in colder than 75 and I guess the main question i have is....
All the adds that I've read say to keep seahorses in groups or mated pairs, now after hearing all that goes into actually trying to raise the fry I just dont have that kinda time!
So do we just buy one seahorse?

Or buy two or three of different species?

Or buy three alike and when they mate just let the babies struggle and more than likely die?

some input would be nice~

IMO your best bet would be to get two horses of same sex, same species. I think if your water doesn't get higher than 75 you'd be all right with kuda, reidi or erectus.

Just because they have fry doesn't mean you have to try to raise them.

I does not matter if you get a pair or not.

ummm, yeah, I agree: you can either just let them die (won't take long) get another fish that will take care of the babies (peppermint shrimp I've heard are good... cardinals, some gobies)

OR, you can find someone on here that will take your babies for free (they pay shipping, or whatever) that will raise them.

oh, and different species will interbreed and create hybrids, so that isn't a viable solution

Well the male is going to have some soon so i will see what happens. I know i dont have the time to try and raise them but i could ship them off to someone who would try.
Any takers let me know, i think locally would be best....

The pipes might take care of the situation for you. Most seem to love seahorse fry. Also if you have a pump or filter that isn't fry proof, it will take them in as well.

DanU said it all. The fry wont stuggle to death. The pipe fish will love the fryes. wich is not bad becasue they are eating.

I rather leth the pipefish eat the fryes han sending them to somebody. by the time they arrive a lot of them will be dead and acclimating the fry and all the work will be to much work for a very little recompence
