Raising Calcium, Not Alkalinity

My Calcium is very low: 260 mg/L (ppm). My Alkalinity is good: 7.7 dKH (2.73 meq/L). I have a two part calcium/carbonate system. Questions:
Can I use just the calcium solution by itself as long as my Alkalinity stays within acceptable range?
Is there another way to raise Calcium without raising Alkalinity?
Is it normal to have such a divergence in the two readings?

Kalk adds alkalinity and calcium, so that won't work. Just dose some calcium chloride, like Kent Turbo Calcium. It'll be fine. People do this regularly.
