On the Denver play there was no "planned celebration between two or more players". With the rams they were doing whatever that new dance is called. So that's why there was a call and then a no-call.

Perfectly correct thing to do.

BTW, I'm in no way saying I like this rule. Because I don't like it. But it was called like it was supposed to.

As long as there are lines of people lined up 10 deep willing to spend that kind of money for a beer they will keep charging those kinds of prices.

Drink before the game if you must. Much cheaper. Then just hit one per half, at least you can keep it to about 20 bucks at the game. Don't forget those nacho plates though!

Yeah the call was called right.. And I agree I don't like the rule at all. That to me is part of the game, or any game for that matter.. Next they will do it in baseball when the team runs out to congrat the guy that just hit a homerun..

i hate that rule.
i want to see huge choreographed dances. and the worm. i like seeing the worm...

You go boyyiiieeee...

The thing I don't like is the celebration after every single tackle and catch. Give me a break! Was that your first tackle? If you catch a ball for a five yard gain that doesn't mean you can break dance with your buddy's. Act like you've been there before!

I'm with you dphinsx2 celebrate a touch down or a big stop 3rd down in the red zone. Just celebrate while getting off the field.

You forget the concept of competition. As long as there are no other options they'll keep charging that. I think we should petition to put in a SLASH beer booth and charge half and still make a 6000% profit margin - then we all could have giant tanks!

I am not sure you understand the economics of the league. I am not sure how sporting venues are but think about this. BAr are often charged more than the average joe would be walking into a grocer to buy alcohol. The get charged more thus its more expensive to drink there. I assume the same thing happens at a stadium.

I know about baseball games more. I get the $7.50 beer at busch and its a 24 ox. beer. (If i remember right). Thats about $4 a beer. I have been to large cities where a bottle of beer was $4.25-$4.50. I have to find a way to rationalize my purchase in every instance.

Also how do you think they make enough money to pay for stadiums and player salaries, scouts, farm systems, grounds crews, ushers, vendors, etc.

Although i think the cardinals owners are a little off base with asking for more cash for the baseball village. Kind of like they created a big hole in downtown and now want someone else to pay for them to make it something.
