Ran out of co2

Some how after 3 months of use my 20lb tank is empty....catching me totally off guard. so it will be a couple of days before i can get it filled and i need to know if its ok to run the reactor without co2 or should i shut it off?

You have a leak, find it as soon as you get the gas recharged, and yes keep the water flowing throu it.
