Hello all,
I have had my heaters hooked to a ranco temp controller for just over a year now. I was doing some work on my stand and needed to unplug the controller from my apex to run the wires somewhere else. I did pay attention and notice that it was reading correctly at 79* before I unplugged it.
After I finished what I was doing and plugged it back in it was reading 113* and wouldn't cut the heaters on when needed. I ended up having to plug the heaters in directly to my apex but am wondering why my ranco screwed up all of a sudden.
Anyone know if the sensor just went bad or something? I can't get ETC to pick up the phone, answer voicemails or emails to help me trouble shoot it. I have been trying for weeks now to get in contact with them.
I don't mind replacing the sensor but if that's not going to fix it is rather not waste the money or time.
