Random pics...

Thanks Ryan,

The lizard seems to have taken up residence in a bird house in my back yard. I spent about five min. watching and taking pictures. I think he must have been a sleep. LOL

Ryan,

Thanks,,,,, I just got my S2 and it is still way smarter than I am it seems..lol . I knew I should have taken that photography class in high school but at the time I had absolutely no interest in it. :( Funny but biology or zoology did not hold my attention either, my how things change. I just hope someday I can get my aquarium shots to look at least half decent they are just never as in focus as I have seen other folks pictures :(

Are you happy with your Tamron lens?

Ryan

Absolutely, some time in the next year or two I'd like to make the switch to the canon 100mm f/2.8 USM, for a couple of reasons, the main reason being that the canon doesn't change length when focusing. The optics of the tamron lens are top notch.

I'll play:

This one is of my youngest son, who recently took up skeet:

We donated this shepherd to the CT State Police K-9 squad, this photo was taken at the graduation ceremony:

I fixed them for you.

You need to link all the way to the picture, not just the page that it appears. I use Apple so your technique may vary, but once you get to picture page I right click and choose "Show Image in seperate window" I copy that URL.

Cheers

Hmm.

The other two still won't appear. I wonder what is different with the first one?

(EDIT): Seems to be working now. I realize that I should have used a fill flash on the last photo to prevent the shadows on the faces.

Yup. It's a little grainy because there was almost no light and I had to go to iso1600 to have a chance at it.

Honestly, for an iso of 1600 it's pretty darn good... :D
