Random stn?

In the last month or so I have had 4-5 sps mini colonies and frags just randomly start to stn. Fragged them up and most of the frags lived, had a few casualties. Also had all of my tangs die over a two weeks span. Just the tangs, all wrasses and anthias are doing fine along with the other fish. Water parameters are as follows
1.026 salinity
<5 no3
0 no2
0 nh3
undetectable po4
10.2 alk
480 ca
1450 mag

any clues to what can be causing this to happen? I'm stumped. All help will be appreciated

Sorry to hear that, not very nice when we encounter a problem.

Few questions;

How often do you test your parameters?
Have you changed you salt or is it a new batch of salt?
Any contaminants in the air or water? on your hands etc?
Are the colonies added recently? and pests found?
Has the temperature remained stable?
Any new equipment?
Any chance their is a stray voltage in the tank?
Were the dead colonies the smallest in the tank?
Are the fragged corals in a frag tank with different water?

Test parameters at least once a week, moreso if I'm having problems. Parameters stay very stable for the most part. Been using reef crystals for almost 2 years now. Temp stays between 78-80. One of the corals had been in my tank for a year and a half and was one of my favorites( ponape rosaria). Haven't cheked for stray voltage but I don't feel any shock while playing in the tank. They weren't the smallest colonies nor was there any specific pattern to their death. One on one side one on the other, one in the middle, etc. Frags are in the frag tank plumbed into the main system. No new equipment recently other than a few extra powerheads

No pests found either. Some colonies are gone overnight, some take a couple weeks. Wife knows not to use any chemicals in my fishroom under penalty of death.

Came from the same box, but I have gone through several bags in the time. Powerheads are not directly blowing on the corals.

Only lps in the display is a favia. Have a bunch of acans in the frag tank though.
I do run carbon occasionally but not at the moment.

I had a the same issue accept my tangs didn'y die. I lost three colonies for no apparnet reason. Everything else in teh tank is doing great. Super frusterating!!!

Yes it is. The tangs dying was weird. The xl whiteface was eating out of the turkey baster the night before, then when I hit home from work the next day it was dead. Then my mata and yellowbelly died, followed by me two tennenti tangs.
