Hey,
Recently acquired two small tangs (two spot kole, half-black mimic both less than 2.5"). They're in a 75g w/ a pygmy angel and marine betta.
Both graze constantly, but I'm a little concerned about the established algae population in the tank. The tank is less than a month old (I recently transferred from a 55g tank so the system itself is fairly old). Neither are eating nori rubberbanded to rocks. Both are eating when I feed flake/pellets and pecking away at the rock/glass, but wanted to make sure they were getting enough food throughout the day. Would the 50lbs of live rock have enough surface algae for them? Is there a particular micro-algae I should buy? Anything I can do to get them to eat the nori?
Thanks
