Very nice shots, like the first one of the two hawkfish and the second last one of the goby the best.
 
Cool thanks I didn't know that the 24-85 was a macro lens

I have a tamron 90mm as well, but without a tripod, it's hard to get great shots. i prefer handheld, don't like tripods while photographing my tank, i can't move around or keep up with moving things, but it's good for coral shots.
 
Regardless of what you're shooting with your pictures speak for themselves those are some pretty amazing shots. I have a great camera and lens and I still suck so big props to you and your photo skills lol. Show us some more shots please

I disagree with you somewhat here, having the 90 myself some great shots can be had hand held. Super close up macro shots - not so much, but great shots of fish, coral colonies etc. can still be had.

i have not been so lucky, i keep getting blur. i think i shake too much.
