The campfire palys are a bit different than nightmares... hence the different name. Mine are about the size of quarter coins.

The rastas grow slower than ever... bought 1 polyp and 2 babies... for 2 months now, all they have done is turn into adults. no new polyps

Back in november 2008, I got the colony from my LFS's display tank.

(my pic i submitted to zoaid back in the day and they were dubbed "007 goldeneyes"... i have since renamed them after the crash)

Around janurary 2009 my heater malfunctioned and FRIED the tank. luckly I had given a tiny frag to a different LFS. since i gave the frag to the LFS, it grew to about 20 polyps.

just the other day, we split it in half, and (in the pic above) is what i have left in my tank... of the original colony.

It is the number ONE saddest coral loss to date

I agree. These zoas were picked out for color. I could care less what the actual name is. The only reason I like names, it if you ask for a "rasta zoo" everyone knows what it looks like. (or most everyone). But I find it absurd that people throw a name on every single polyp that comes to being now... just in hope to make a fast buck. Really irritating ... and what's worse... people buy them

haha yeah. I have some plain green zoas. my lfs tried to sell me "radioactive dragoneyes" and i was like "yeah, sounds great where are they," and then i learned that radioactive dragons have plain green eyes.
