Rapid Quarantine?

Anybody have a protocol for rapidly quarantining on an otherwise healthy fish? Anything less than 3 weeks?
thanks

As much as you would want to put your new arrival in the tank. The 4-6 week period is a lot better than losing the fish or introducing something into the tank. Most marine animals with the exception of Octo's are very long lived. The month or so in a Qt is better than cutting it short and possibly cutting the fish's life short. Don't get me wrong it's Christmas morning every time I buy a fish. But a little patience goes a long way. I guarantee that extra time will pay off. It could literally add years to the fish's life.
