I read it and that must have sucked,I've bought from him 3times with no issues at all.maybe because I dealt with Russ directly on Facebook .
His communication was fast and everything was shipped promptly.no leaky bags at all.

I won't deal with rare reef any more. They screwed up two orders to me. They will promise you they sent stuff out and nothing has been done. Lots of people in my club have been screwed over by them. They have pretty pieces and decent prices but their customer serious is crappy to me.

How about buying local? Carlos almost always has a nice selection of common and rare zoos and his prices are reasonable. He'll frag however many you want. I got my vivid rainbows from him along with orange mauls, hornets, sunny D's and many others.

Carlos is friends with rare reef. He is going to be bringing in some of their stuff.

After reading all the bad reviews on Rare Reef I would not buy anything that came from them.

Well, from Aquarius's FB it sounds like Carlos will be getting a shipment directly from Rare Reef in (like brian mentioned); so you can sample them yourself and see them with your own eyes in local frag tanks before you put down any money.

I have to agree with this, because Carlos at The Aquarius has many connections and can weed out the bad deals and bad frags. If he can get stuff from Rare Reef then he knows what to get and how to deal with it if there are any issues.

The issue is that rare reef would still be making money through Carlos. If we don't want to support rare reef, that means we can't buy through Carlos. No excuse for those bad reviews.

True. I wish I could give my real opinion on Rare Reef, but it is inappropriate. I won't say any more on the subject.
