miguel - you shouldnt even waste your time. fraggle reef is a cool place and he's the nicest person/vendor i've met here in socal. i've been to a lot and he's the coolest person i've met other than the guys at aquarium works. other places that people go to and say are real cool have just tried to sell me stuff that i dont need or would try to sell me something else than what i wanted to get.

i say you guys go to fraggle reef, check out the place and then give your honest opinion. cause a picture wont justify how this zoa looks or how it died unless you see it for yourself. dont get swayed by other's opinion, make one yourself.

First off I made an opinion on the fact that an old pic was used, many people will agree with me that anyone saying that all they have is an old pic is skeptical... I never said anything bad about the service or they people that work there.. Yes, my comment about them BSing was a little uncalled for, still it doesnt explain the picture as well as the frag dying... I meant the comment to be a joke not expecting people to consider it a bad company.. I apologize to FraggleReef...

My opinion is just that my opinion... I started this thread asking about the rarity of the zoo... Immediatley I recieved several responses saying it wasnt the rarest, and to me should have never been labeled that...
As for organism, if my comment offended you, sorry, but with the way things are these days one can only be skeptical, especially when multiple things are wrong with a sale...

no worries InADream, I appreciate your apology very much

also, there was nothing wrong with the sale though, they really are the rarest, because no one has them, although you were given several opinions (opinions) posed as fact that they weren't, and the picture is extremely accurate, just old. my dragon eyes pic on there is about a year and a half old, does that make it any less accurate, out of curiosity? the problem is that no one wants to admit that they really are the rarest, even though less people have actually seen the shiznits than the amount of people that actually own orange envys :) the bigger problem is that I don't mind if people think that they're rare or not, I only posted in this thread because I just care that people are calling it shady that I had a frag die, that's just... mean. beyond mean.

like I said though, I sold them for $39 a few months ago, so rarest or not I didn't charge a thing for them (unlike the thieves out there charging, say, $400-500 a polyp for certain palys, or $100-200 for certain zoos)

again though, rarity is relative, and fact is malleable, especially on rc apparently, refer to my sig for the rest :D

thanks much for the kind words, that second paragraph has made the most sense of anything that I've read on here :)

What are those polyps that look like neon sun polyps?

Actino -the three heads that look like sun polyps are dendrophyllias. They are basically a giant sun coral but open up 24 hrs a day.

The sunshine palys are on the far right, the orange reddish ones.

I own the dendro right now, but the rest of the stuff are not mine. They are another RC member.

do your research first.
If you were talking to me I would, but I am probably not interested in buying those despite their beauty. I don't like too need to target feed.

I agree with hypertek.....its fun to watch your corals eat when you target feed, especially with sun corals and dendrophyllias because you can see their mouth open up wide and slowly see the food go into their mouth.
