Rarity of Pink R. Florida?

Hey, all-

What is the comparative rarity of these pink rics. I have seen them a few times, but they don't seem to be at all common in my area.

The pic really doesn't do them justice.

I have had them for about 18 months, and have gotten a grand total of 7 from the original one. I am ready to frag a few for the second time. What would a person normally pay for this colour? (single, good sized, mounted on rock.) Also, how can I encourage them to grow/divide FASTER. They are sooo slow

:)

I've seen them a few times before, but I'm not sure of exactly what price range people would usually pay for them.

Thanks-

So you've seen them quite a bit, Dc? I washington I have only seen them actually for sale twice, both singles that had been fragged from another aquarist and then traded to the lfs. Both times they were at least 40 bucks a pop. What's the average price in your area?

Thanks, Rachel-

I love Metallica too. We saw them a few years back at the Gorge, sweet show! Jason Newstead was hit by a bottle thrown by someone in the pit and they almost stopped the show. The guy who threw it was beat down, baby.

Back onto topic, even if they aren't too rare, I love them. I was thinking 20 bucks for a nice size mounted single. Is that outrageous?

Thanks! :)

Yeah they usually go for $20 a head depending on availability. One of the LFS has them specially ordered. Try asking the LFS to order some or ask fellow reefers to sell some.

They're beautiful and not available around here :( I don't want to buy one at the moment due to tank issues, but those look real nice. I don't think $5 a head is actually something very common...
