Rasta growth rate

I recently bought 2 polyps of Rastas and have heard they are real slow growers. I have only had them since 11/25 and I already see 1 possibly 2 new polyps forming.

Does this seem unusually fast? I run 4x48" T5 on icecap ballast and dose vitamin C twice daily. I also feed the tank with coral frenzy every night.

growth rate is going to vary from tank to tank. every tank is different and there fore growth rate will be different.

when i had them they were not fast growers but they defilently did not grow slow like i have seen some PE's grow.

I've had mine for about 4 months now and have only had 1 baby sprout up (which has now become a full adult). I consider these guys to still be fairly slow growers. Maybe they like your tank!

I actually ended up getting them in a frag pack from zoagirl. It was originally supposed to be only 1 polyp, but she said that melted, so I ended up getting the 2 polyp frag along with 1 polyp of real Blue Hornet, 2 polyp of nightmares for $150 shipped and she threw in nice freebie frag of orange envys.

Just to let you know, all the others have also sprouted 1-2 more polyps since I received them on 11/25

But I have seen rastas selling for about $60-$65pp on ebay.

I got a couple of polyps a few months ago now i have around 15 polyps, they seem pretty fast growers, will see.
