Rate this vendor??

I have found some very competitive prices on lenses on this website. I am a newbie that has bought a canon 40d with a ef 24-70mm lens. Still want a canon 100mm macro and the canon 70-200mm IS zoom lens. Looking for best price.

So far I bought the camera and lens at B&H.

Can someone tell me where there is a website where the different websites are rated and show feedback?

Any other websites that are reputable that you would suggest?

I should have added, I buy all of larger camera gear purchases from B&H.

Yes, I too heartily endorse B&H Never any problems at all, very expansive stocking.

The camera online game is one of smoke and mirrors. Most of the non-authorized dealers sell lenses and cameras debundled and are considered "grey market". Stay away from dealers that are not Authorized Dealers of the brand of equipment you are trying to buy. B&H and Cameta are two I can think of offhand that offer reputable product/service.

I made the mistake of buying a D60 camera body from an eBay retailer that was not an authorized dealer. Bad mistake...delays in shipping and then immediately afterward, credit card fraud ensued. Ugly business. This is just one example of buying from a nonreputable dealer. Usually though, the slimy ones simply debundle the product so you don't get manufactor warranty which they then try and sell you an aftermarket warranty which is worthless.

So anyway..bottom line is that if the price looks to good to be true in the camera world, it is. Stick with B&H. They are consistent and reputable.
