Raw & Cs2

I was under the impression that i could just drag the raw images into CS2 and it would be editable, when i do this it says "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document." Camera is a Nikon D50, files are .NEF. What am i doing wrong?

You might need to download the latest CameraRaw plugin from Adobe.com

i tried downloading http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=3584&fileID=3381

when you double click it it opens photoshop, then nothing happens, same message when i try opening the file.

That camera is supported in the latest version. Did you install it into the correct folder per the instructions?

i didnt see any instructions, i tried copying it to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins\File Formats and that didnt work.

nevermind, i had to restart photoshop, it works now. Thanks all
