Currently i am letting my caulerpa go a bit wild, creating a "grass bed" for them to hunt. They also eat frozen cyclops, red plankton and lobster eggs.

I love the seagrass bed! It's also cool that they eat frozen food. I haven't run across one that eats anything but live foods.

Thanx, will prune it i bit this weekend, had to let it grow a bit wild. Next to be introduced is codium sp,for ponies to cling to. I am very lucky to have got these shrimpfish that are eating frozen foods, got them from the same lfs as my messmates, who also eat frozen food. I will take more pics and post them, after pruning of course

They are housed in a 4ft tank, which is connected to my main display tank(for stability reasons). The tank started out as a rdsb, but decided to use it at a species spesific tank, currently i have messmate pipefish(which are doing very well),and the 2 shrimpfish. I took out the dartfish i had inside, moved them to the display tank. I will post a couple of pics sometime soon, finished pruning the grassbed(which i did heavily).

We had a dozen of these for a long time in with various pipefish and seahorses and they were amazing to keep. The tank was shut down in the end but this group would always be tightly grouped, were easy to wean onto frozen foods and readily took frozen brine, mysis and PE mysis which was hard to believe given their mouths. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or have them again.

Love the carpet effect of the caulerpa.
