update

Well it started to move around alot and was getting into bad places. I been setting up two 6 gallon nano cubes just for a anemone and pair of clown fish. Well they are testing good water and I decided to move him into a new home. here is a new photos doesnt seem to be much change to me. the tips are out look good but mouth and one side doesnt. I think he trying to split.

Tommie, I am not to sure what its doing.
They usually split at the mouth first.
Do you see the mouth at all and is it oblong or normal?
This is a strange thing. Please keep posting pictures as it goes along.
I would be interested in its outcome.
Also see my little red house for pictures of a splitting BTA.
Maybe that will help you to figure out what its doing.
If this turns out to be a split I would be interested in putting the pictures on my web page if you can take clear pictures of its progress as it goes along.
I find the first 2 pictures very interesting.

Sorry its a bit off subject but i dont think a nem and two clowns should really be put in a 6 gallon. I had two baby percs in a 10 G they looked really cramped so i moved them to a 30G

as far as it being bleached its not I had for almost 3 and half weeks its been the color ... its green in the photo it looks whitess but trust me its a pretty green.

Well its not looking better but dont think its worst. I think its undecided what it wants to do. here is the pic everyone comments help thanks

Tommie, the line isnt a split, its just the coloring around the mouth that your are seeing.
Is it attached to anything?
It should be attached at the foot to a rock and not floating around the tank.
When was your last water change, what is your tank temperature?
Should be 78 to 79degrees.
Try a 1g water change and see what it does.

late night update

late night update

lights are out.
It is attached at the foot to a rock in middle of tank now.
I am wacthin and will do a 1 gallon change in the morning 1st thing. Temp is a steady 79
well next update in the morning somtime.

Tommie, sorry about the gallons of water to change, I was thinking it was in a 6 gallon, do a 5 gallon water change this morning on your 55 and see what happens.
It is amazing how fast an animal responds to new salt water.
Something I have found, and it may be just me is, when I do a water change, I always have the new water semi cool.
It seems to make them respond in a happy way for lack of a better way to put it.
They like the change in temp for a short time.
Not to cool tho, maybe around 72 to 75 is about what my water is when I do a water change.
I also, when doing top offs add cool water.
Seems to be a stimulant for them.
I know allot of people insist on having the same temp for water changes and top offs but I have never done that.
It's a wow thing for the inhabitants and they come to where I am pouring it in to take a cool bath it seems.
Just my opinion tho so take that info as you will.

Tommie, much better, have you been feeding it allot?
It's mouth looks great, nice and tight, its opening up like it should but as stated above, is still bleached.
Keep up the feedings and good water and he will be just fine.
