RBTA and Devils Hand

My new RBTA has made its way and is touching the new Devils hand with one or two tips. Will this kill the Devils hand? It is also touching several zoas that are not particularly special, but I don't like the idea of letting something die if I can avoid it. Is the best recourse to move the RBTA again. They are both new coral to me and I want them to do well. This picture was just after the lights came on so it hasn't had time to be at its largest which is when it touches the Devils hand.

Rbta typically sting whatever they touch, best to isolate them and allow 18-24 inches for growth.

Nems are such a PITA sometimes

I removed all my nems from my main DT because they kept roaming and stinging things. My wife likes them though so they got their own tank .

I did that with my 470 and 375 a few years back. Somehow a rbta got sucked through the pump and started a bunch in my long tank. They're definitely better off in their own system or walled off professional like.

Moving the nem is pointless unless your moving it into its own tank. Let it choose its spot and it is unlikely to move until you change lighting or flow in the tank. It will find take the spot of its choice reguardless of how often you move it!

move the Shroom, its going to need much more room to grow imo. If the nem picked that spot make it comfy, get a crab to host or a clown or two , then get a long noose hawk fish to sit on the shroom and give the stink eye to the nem.

I'd be more concerned about that pencil urchin. They are not reef safe.

That's sad to hear, I have had him since September. I am tired of picking up the coral.
