RBTA and LTA

I have a RBTA and would love to ad another Anemone. The Long Tentacle Anemone - Macrodactyla doreensis is a sand anemone and my RBTA is on the rocks hosted by 2 maroon/gold clowns. Can I add another anemone that is a different species?

It should be ok. Try to put it where the rock meets the sand so it can dig in. They shouldn't physically touch each other so if your rbta is on the rocks on one side of the tank, put the lta near the bottom on the other side of the tank. It could move though.

Some people mention chemical warfare between anemones, which I'm not so sure about, but running some carbon wouldn't hurt.

Chemical warfare? I thought only corals did that. Thanks for the info. I always run carbon so it should be ok.
