RBTA budding?

Ive had BTAs split before, and Ive split them too. But Ive never seen one bud like this before.

Yep, it happens. Not often - it's only happened to me once in 15 years (versus well over 100 splits). Nice picture. Different is always fun!

Will it eventually separate and become 2 anemones like with a split?

Yes. At least, mine did. It took quite a while though, so I wasn't really paying attention when it happened (especially since it was on the underside of the expanded parent anemone, so it was hard to tell it was there). One day it just wasn't there anymore and a small clone was on the rocks next to the parent.

Nope still the same. Though the tentacles on the "clone" are a bit bigger.
