Doing just fine.24hrs later,Even tried to eat? Hard to do with no functioning mouth yet.I'll post a pic later.Makes you wonder why they cost so much if their that easy to clone.

tell me if it works for long term? My RBTA cloned itself. I woke up one morning and there was two. They split there cells right down the middle of the mouth.

yes, keep us updated with pics, because you can read this stuff all day, but when someone is actually doing/trying it, it makes it that much more educational, good scientific method!

The only reason I can Try this is because I ended up with 6 after numerous natural splits.Your right, you can read ,But to see is to believe. My prediction is it will work. They didn't even deflated.Sorry pics so big don't know how to resize.

Yes, they can be cut in half. Mine was propagated by a local reefer who cut his in half and gave half to me after it was healed up. :)

they are so expensive because people put the price on them and others pay it...

kinda like fuel...abundant supply, stupid demand = ridiculous prices..

your roses look good to me..

nice job documenting it...

I'm just curious - can you define your cutting procedure?

Razor blade through the center? That's what I'd read about...

How long did it take to heal?

Thanks everyone for the input!Like everyone I'd heard about it but never seen it.Today they look the worst, still inflated, but they look "lazy".They did finally attach to the container though. The method I used was fillet knife to the middle of the foot.Primative! And,to Randy thanks for all the things you have done for US.I'm currently reading"Chemistry and the Aquarium" ,Solving Calcium and Alkalinity problems.Im in zone 4.Holding on any fixes until I get new test kits.Heres a pic. Also my main tank
