I have a pair of GBm and a cpl weeks ago i got a new RBTA. It attached its self right in the spot i put it and was looking great for a cpl weeks. now for about a week i notice the foot is not as spread out and the male seams to be flaping its tail to get the foot to relese from the rock. It has been eating well and when open its nice and bubbled. I have a 175w HM and 2 75 vho's. i went to check my water peramiters and i am out of most of my test kits.
What i did have are
ph 8.0
kh 7
sal 1.250
po .25
cal 380
I also have noticed that since i got the RBTA the femal spends alot of time in it more then she did with our other one. i will go to my LFS and get the water tested tomorrow but any help will be appreciated.

I am guessing that salinity is 1.025 not 1.25? that is fine. Your Phosphates would be pretty high at .25. In general Maroons are pretty rough on their nems and have been known to "love" them to death if they are not large enough and settled in enough. How long has your tank been setup? You mention you had another nem, what happened with that one?

If it is still healthy perhaps remove the clowns or seperate them from the nem for a few days until the nem can refoot completly.

The other RBTA was alot smaller maybe 3 inches. This one is close to 8. when we got it it beached out from stress from the LFS it was footed deep in a rock and it took alot to get it out. The tank is over 3 yrs old and was a upgrade so prob even longer. It refooted over night but this is the 2nd time in a week they seam to have worked the foot off the rock. My other 1/2 was searching last night and things they are doing house keeping to spawn. We have had the male for about a yr 1/2 now. And the female has about tripled in size since.
