RBTA help please

Added 1 RBTA and 3 GBTA about 3 months ago and one of the GBTA split within a week. They've been doing great not really moving, inflating and seemed to be growing all until this morning.

Just before heading to work this morning noticed one of the GBTA was dying if not already dead. Grabbed a hose and siphoned out. The RBTA which was right next was balled up but the 3 other GBTA looking fine. When came home this afternoon thought all was good as RBTA was back to normal but now a few hours later it's looking really stressed (others GBTA still normal along with everything else is display).

All that I came think of is last night fed all about 1/2 a pencil eraser sized piece of prawn each. Prawns I had bought uncooked about a month ago from grocery store, diced up and froze. Had been feeding the nems a thawed bit once or twice a week.

Could the prawn have gone bad? Is there anything I can do (reduce lights or flow)? Have no meds and unlikely could get anytime soon.

Maybe not the end.

Wasn't all gaping and puking snot as the GBTA was this morning but the RBTA thought for sure was just about gone. Got a little 10g going with HOB filter, LR and bag of carbon and was going to transfer the RBTA if anything left after I picked up the kid from cadets. Come home after an hour and looks like like I have 2 RBTA. It's definitely looked happier before but now hopeful.

My Haddoni also had issues after feeding last month. Same thing diced up and frozen scallops. Great before, downhill after that feeding. Happened very quickly. If in doubt, have any Cipro handy?

BTAs of any color don't need to be fed. If you have adequate light then let them find a spot where they like the flow and the light and leave them alone.

IF you just can't stop feeding them then uses frozen Mysis and a baster.

Fresh prawns can carry any number of nasty bacteria and just because you bought them fresh doesn't mean they actually were.

I've been keeping anemones for over 30 years. I've had some BTAs live a decade. I never feed them. They thrive.
