RBTA hiding

Bought my rbta a month ago since then. It moved into crack under liverock away from light. Wait to two weeks to see if it would move again but no. So I moved it to a different spot in the tank so I can see it and next morning it's hiding again under liverock again away from light again. Hate that I spend good money on my rbta and it always hiding. Don't know what to do.

What lights do you have? And what lights was it under? Did you acclimate it to your lights?

Also, what are your water parameters (( with numbers )), flow and what else is in the tank.

Lighting is t5's 6-80w. Bulbs are new. Don't know what lights it was 1st under bought from liveaquaria's diversden. Accalmated to tank has liveaquaria paper instructed. Left lights out till morning. Nothing else in the tank seems to be bothing it. Flow is dart closed loop.
Water parameters
nitrate 0
nitrite 0
ammonia 0
salt 1.026
ph 7.98
alk 3.0 meq/l
cal 450
temp 80

Lighting is on the low end for bta, ph is a bit low nothing to bad, probably was under 250MH before. just leave it be it takes time to adjust to new Light.

Mine does the same thing and I have had it for 2 months now it hides behind a piece of LR, but he pops it's head out every now and then.... But my Clowns are hosting and he is still Visible to light....

I'm amazed, came home today from work and it move 5" to the front of the tank. Can see it now, hoping it stay put.

Sweet Sooner or Later one Day over night he'll end up on the opposite side of the Tank... You'll be freakin out then.... :-)

Have you fed it yet? They do require food if they are not catching their own food in your tank. Try very small diced pieces of silversides, krill, or mysis every 3-7 days. Do you have clownfish hosting the anemone ? How large are the clowns and anemone?

Yes, feed it small piece of shrimp every four days. Loves it takes it right way. So far since it moved I'm a happy camper.
