RBTA in a SPS Tank?

Could I keep a RBTA in an SPS tank? It is the 135 gal, with 3 250w 20k MHs, 50x turnover rate from 2 moded MJ powerheads and 2 Koralia 1s. I would make a separate rock island for the anemone that is surrounded by sand, in effect acting like a moat so that if it decides to wander, it can't disterb my other corals. Think it would work?

It still might wander, you can't really predict when or where they will move. It works fine for some people. Mine was set for the last 4 months, no problems, but a few days ago it started to move and it has gone around the tank 2.5 times so far. It doesn't appear to have entirely killed any of my sps yet, but a couple are looking bad.

Supposedly they will not venture out onto sand, and a "bommie" like you're describing is a good approach. It's not a guarantee, however. If the anemone is unhappy enough, it can let go altogether and float in the current until it hits another solid surface. Keep your powerheads covered.

If it's not happy it's gonna roam. I don't have any sps but my rbtas have stung some of my softies. So far the only trick I have is to wait untill it sits in a place I like that looks good for it, like flow and light, then feed it (or them) , I like silversides myself. So far they have been sticking in those places.
