RBTA - Is this possible? I can't believe it!

I have been very sick for the past few months, even in the hospital some, so my tanks have gone to pot.

Today I was feeling better and got to work cleaning up a tank. My RBTA didn't make it, so I wasn't expecting to see anything. However, I found a TINY - and I mean tiny - piece of the RBTA. It's not even the size of a dime.

Is there any chance this little guy will make it? Anyone ever seen anything like this?

Yes, put it in a tank with great water quality and lots of light and you just might get lucky.

I had one go through the closed loop once and got all chopped up. One half lived. The other half died except for a piece the size of a dime. Now it's about 6" and has split several times....

Hope I'm as lucky. So far the two pieces seem to be doing fine. Even looking better, although they are still tiny and bleached.
