RBTA looks very healthy and happy but doesn't eat

I have had a RBTA for over a month now and he is yet to eat anything I have fed him. I have given him jumbo krill shrimp and silverslides both cut into small pieces. He is attached to the glass at the top of the tank so I know he is getting tons of light so maybe he doesn't need any food. Sometimes he will take in the silversides and then spit them out later. His color is fine and his tentacles are bubbled up nicely. He looks very healthy. Should I be concerned and is there anything else I should try?

I feed with Mytis shrimp.Maybe try something smaller.Had mine 2yrs and has split off 4 clones.all doing fine .Worth a shot.

What type of lightng do you have? They usually only go to the top of the tank when they are not getting enough light.

He is getting plenty of light. I have 2 250w MH with new 14k Phoenix bulbs using Lumatek ballastes. The MHs are supplemented with PC atinics. The tank is a 72 gallon bowfront.

That is plenty of light. They are strange creatures. Try the mysis or a piece of raw cocktail shrimp. I had one that loved small pieces of scallop.

I never could get mine to do silversides. So I feed prime reef. It holds together long enough to grab it.
