RBTA losing its red color

What are possible causes of a RBTA losing its deep dark red colors?
My RBTA was dark red, from tip down each tentacle.
Now the tips are a lighter red, but the tentacles below the tip is brownish.

Nothing has changed since its addition over 6 months ago.

Weekly 5-7 gallons water change in a 30 gallons cube, with a 250 MH.

Color will change w/ lighting, and 250w over a 30g is fairly strong, especially for a low light need BTA.

What lighting would you suggest to help it recover its colors?
I have ricordias, mushrooms, hammer, and kenya trees.

What temperature color is your MH?

It's a DE 10K Aqualine powered by a Ice Cap ballast.

The distance from where the anemone is situated to the light is about 16 inches.
